I come from an IT background, working for corporates such as SSE and Zurich Insurance, and for the last five years I have been supporting a number of private clients.
The work that I have done for my clients varies, from day to day support for their technology, ie. help with mobile phones, resolving computer issues and recommending better, or more up to date ways of doing things.
I have also specified and installed CCTV, home entertainment, data storage and remote access technology.
There is really no limit to the type of advice I have been asked to provide. If I can’t help them directly, I will research and advise them with a solution.
I have also agreed service contracts with some of my customers, where a routine site visit will take place every month, or whenever is appropriate, in order to reset communications equipment, check for system updates and fix any local issues.
